Rose wine

Rose wines, once, were made by assembling white and red wines. Today, however, in Europe rosé wines are produced with red berried grapes, gray-berry grapes (Pinot Grigio, Grenache Gris), poor grapes with coloring matter (Poulsard, Doux d’Henry), white and red grapes vinified together (blend), assemblages of musts obtained from white and red grapes. An example of this is the “Vita Rosa Sparkling Spumante Rose Brut” and the “Valtidone Rosé Spumante Extra Dry”.
