Red wine

Red wines are those wines produced by the red vinification of red berried grapes, in a process of wine processing in which the solid parts of the grape (grape skins and grape seeds) are placed in contact with the liquid fraction (must) during the fermentation, to extract part of the substances contained in them (maceration). The vinification in red is distinguished from the one in white because in it the maceration takes place simultaneously with the fermentation, while in the white one the possible maceration takes place before the start of fermentation. Among the labels of Valtidone, the “Sapio Barbera Doc”, the “Pinot Nero Doc”, the “Picchio Rosso Novello”, the “Bellamar Gutturnio Superiore Fermo”.
